Within the field of aluminium and steel constructions, we supply curtain walls in different configurations, using high qualitative systems and developing projects according to the customer’s need. The increasing demand of this type of casing is due to the increasing necessity to benefit from the glass and aluminium to create a sense of transparency and to contribute to a feeling of lightness. Vertical and inclined facades, or polygonal surfaces built with visible frames and glass are suitable for industrial and civil buildings, business centres, offices, show-rooms, hospitals, airports, and train stations.

Variants
MULLIONS AND TRANSOMS CURTAIN WALLS
Mullions and transoms curtain walls are characterised by withstanding and transparent features, offering an attractive aesthetic design.Vertical facades, inclined facades, and polygonal facades are made of aluminium or steel structures with minimalist profiles, and are designed to support glass plates or panels.The use of double or triple glazing with thermal insulation profiles and EPDM elements allows to have high thermal-acoustic insulation, and resistance to climatic conditions.The fixing of the plates to the grid is guaranteed by pressure elements covered by caps, which can have different shapes. Moreover, it is possible to insert swing openings, bottom-hung openings, tilt-and-turn openings, awning openings as well as doors.

STRUCTURAL FACADES
Structural facades, also known as “all glass” façade present the same mullions and transoms system to support the glass plates or panels, but the difference is that from the outside only the glazing is visible.The glazing or panels are fixed to the frame using structural silicone and sealant in thermal-acoustic and UV resistant resin.The use of double or triple glazing with thermal insulation profiles and EPDM elements allows to have high thermal-acoustic insulation, and resistance to climatic conditions.Structural curtain wall creates a perfectly transparent façade, and are suitable for commercial building as well as for residential building.

POINT-FIXED FACADES
Point-fixed facades offer high levels of transparency and light, and are built with a particular system that allows to create large glazed surfaces without visible steel elements. This type of façade is used to cover buildings as well as to create glass walls for interiors.The bearing structure is made of vertical mullions in aluminium, steel or stainless steel, but also structural glass. Point-fixed facades consist of perforated and non-perforated double glazing, coupling devices, and stainless steel rods.The glass panels are sealed with structural silicon, which guarantee waterproof features and insulation from atmospheric agents.

VENTILATED FACADES
Ventilated facades are designed with infill panels, without visible fastening, supported by profiles in extruded aluminium anchored to the wall of the building.The benefit of this system is the reduction of the heat load of the building, due to the features of the external coverings, like fiber cement, alucobond, wood, corten steel, etc and the thermal-acoustic insulation in rockwool insert between the wall and the panels.The size of the façade depends on the chosen materials for the external covering and the insulated material that is fixed with anchors, thus guarantee the passage of air.

ACCESSORY ELEMENTS
On request it is possible to design sun shading systems that are fixed to the structure with thin aluminium mullions.They are fundamental in order to create a pleasant and satisfying place to live and to work.Sun shading systems are made up of elliptical extruded aluminium profiles, aluminium or steel slats, or tempered glass plates. It is also possible to insert photovoltaic panels onto the blades and the automatism can be managed by a domotic system.Our technical department will assist you and advise you in order to design the best solution, thanks to our expertise gained over the years.
